'Louise Bourgeois’s Cells are intensely psychological microcosms: situated within various enclosures, each is a multi-faceted collection of objects and sculptural forms arranged to evoke an atmosphere of emotional 
resonance'(Guggenheim).  The Cells are 28 emotionally charged architectural spaces, presented as an individual microcosm separating the internal from the external world, described as a tapestry of references to past and present personal moments and experiences, Bourgeois' work is engages concepts of space, memory and narrative.
